Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Roots is built to meet WCAG 2.0 level AA and Israeli Standard 5568. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an add-on.
What we did
Semantic structure with landmarks, one heading hierarchy and a "skip to content" link; full keyboard navigation with visible focus; labels on every control; color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text; support for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting; right-to-left support for Hebrew.
An accessibility toolbar (bottom corner) offers larger text, high contrast, inverted colors, stopped animations, text spacing, underlined links and a readable font. Your choices are saved on this device.
Known limitations
The visual family tree is also available as a searchable list for screen-reader users. Some third-party sign-in screens (Google) are outside our control.
